Competitions
2018
For the 2018 Season, FIRST POWER UP, we will be competing in both the University of Waterloo Event from March 22-24 and Western Engineering Event April 6-8
2017
The 2017 season was Parker Smith approved.
In Durham College we were seeded first overall only to lose in a close semi-final match up. Our second district event was Waterloo, we ranked fifth and again made in the semi finals; earning enough points to qualify for the Provincial Champs.
Competing in Mississauga was some of the best competition in the world and we continued to earn district points to go to the FIRST Championship in St. Louis!
In St. Louis we were put into the Darwin division and found ourselves the second pick on the 7th alliance. We upset the 2nd seeded alliance for a match but eventually lost out.
2016
The 2016 season was an extremely high-paced season for our team. We competed in the Greater Toronto East (GTRE) and Waterloo regional as well as the World Championships.
At GTRE we put our cardboard sculpture on display advertising the Google Cardboard glasses and virtual reality app for our second edition of FRC TCG.
In Waterloo we lost in the quater-finals to the championship alliance. Also in the Galileo Division were eliminated in the semi-finals.
2015
The 2015 season was a very successful season for us! Renaissance Robotics competed in the North Bay and Windsor Essex Great Lakes regional. During the North Bay regional, our competition ended in the semi-finals. In WEGLR competition, the season came to an end after the first round of playoffs.
One of our largest accomplishments was the creation of our game - FIRST Robotics Competition Trading Card Game (FRC TCG)!
2014
The 2014 season was very exciting for Renaissance Robotics! We competed at both the Waterloo and Windsor-Essex Great Lakes regional competitions.
This amazing season ended with us finishing in the top 10, and being Alliance Captains!
We missed earning a spot in the finals by one shot, making us hungry to win next year!

2013
The 2013 season was our rookie year!
We competed at the Waterloo regional. The rookie year was amazingly fun, stressful, challenging and rewarding. It was so great that we came back the next year for more.
